Horse Blanket Style J-R Coat (black)
This is an exceptionally well-made coat, of horse blanket fitted style with bias surcingles that really stay put, keeping your dog snug and warm with its water-repelling outer nylon shell and thick fleece lining. Rory is seen here in the adjacent photo, modeling the black nylon coat, which is an excellent choice for barn dogs, as it also repels burrs, shavings, and water. This good-looking and very durable coat works for the city as well, and is what the well-dressed Russell will be wearing this winter! In addition to basic black (as pictured), this coat style is also available in either Navy or Burgundy, with green trim. Sizes: 12" - 13" - 14".

The Snuggler: what the well-dressed Russell is wearing ..
Our Snugglers are just right for chilly days, when a heavier dog coat is uncalled for. These are comfortable enough to be worn inside by ailing dogs who require additional warmth. The soft velour goes over the head and is secured with one wide velcro band. The snuggler can also be layered underneath the heavy 'horse blanket' dog coat (above), for ample warmth in severe winter weather. We use them here on all of the rescue dogs, for their daily walks and excercise during the winter months. They are lined in soft, lightweight fabric, and are machine washable. Essentially- the most versatile piece of dog clothing you can buy for your Jack Russell; and easy to put on, and easy for your dog to wear. Other colors can be ordered below. Here- shown at left, Niki is modelling one in Moss, with Champagne trim.
